Cookie Policy

LAYER 1 – COOKIE CONSENT (POP-UP NOTICE)

Instructions for Configuring the Cookie Consent Banner

1. Prior Consent Requirement

Configure the cookie system so that no cookies are stored in the user’s browser until the user has given clear and affirmative consent through a specific action (e.g., by clicking “Accept All Cookies” or “Accept Cookie Settings”).

Simply browsing or scrolling through the website must not be interpreted as consent.

2. Freely Given and Non-Coercive Consent

Ensure that the user can access the website even if they choose to reject all cookies (except those strictly necessary).

Do not use “cookie walls” that force the user to accept cookies as a condition for accessing the site.

3. Detailed and Transparent Information

Include links or dropdowns in the cookie banner that provide access to additional information.

Provide the user with a clear and specific description of all cookies and tracking technologies in use. For each cookie, include:

  • Name of the cookie

  • Purpose (clearly stating its use)

  • Cookie provider

  • Type of cookie

  • Expiry date

(*) This information can appear either in the banner itself or in the cookie policy, but must always be easily accessible for the user at any time.

4. Granular Consent Options

Allow users to accept or reject different categories of cookies (e.g., analytics, personalisation, advertising).

Include a “Customise Cookies” button that enables granular selection, along with “Accept All Cookies” and “Reject Cookies” options.

Install a specific module for granular control if necessary.

5. Banner Design

The “Accept”, “Reject”, and “Customise Cookies” options must be presented at the same visual level (same colour, size, and visibility), ensuring that rejecting cookies is no more difficult than accepting them.

Do not use pre-ticked boxes for any cookie type except strictly necessary cookies, which may be enabled by default.

6. Consent Logging

Store a record of all consents granted, ensuring they are securely retained for documentation purposes.

Set the system to request renewal of consent every 12 months from the user’s first visit.

7. Exceptions for Technical Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (e.g., for language or currency settings) do not require consent if used solely for those purposes.

Avoid using these cookies for any other purpose unless consent is obtained.

Granular Settings Panel

When using non-essential or third-party cookies for various purposes, implement a granular cookie management panel.

Allow users to select the types of cookies they wish to enable and manage their preferences at any time.

LAYER 2 – COOKIE POLICY TEXT

COOKIE POLICY

This website uses its own and third-party cookies to provide you with a better experience and service. By browsing or using our services, the user agrees to the use of cookies. However, the user may choose to prevent the creation of cookies or delete them at any time.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that websites send to your browser and is stored on your device, which can be a computer, smartphone, tablet, etc. These files allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as language preference and other settings, making your next visit easier and the site more useful by personalising its content. Cookies play a vital role in enhancing the user experience.

Types of cookies

By the entity that manages them:

  • First-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a domain managed by the website owner and used to provide the service requested by the user.

  • Third-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a domain not managed by the website owner, but by another entity that processes data obtained via cookies.

By the time they remain active:

  • Session cookies: Designed to collect and store data while the user accesses the website. Typically used to store information needed only for the duration of the visit.

  • Persistent cookies: Store data on the user’s device for a defined period set by the cookie’s controller, which may range from a few minutes to several years.

By purpose:

  • Technical cookies: Allow navigation on the website and the use of various services or features, such as traffic control, data communication, session identification, access to restricted areas, remembering order items, processing event sign-ups, using security elements, or storing content for multimedia delivery.

  • Personalisation cookies: Enable the user to access the service with predefined general characteristics, such as language, browser type, content layout, device geolocation, or regional configuration.

  • Advertising cookies: Manage the advertising spaces shown on the website. They allow advertising content to be tailored to the user and prevent repetition of previously viewed ads.

  • Analytical cookies: Track and analyse user behaviour on the website. This information is used to measure website activity and to create user browsing profiles to improve services based on user interaction data.

You can review the cookies used on this website through the settings panel and adjust your preferences at any time.

The cookies in use are available for review and adjustment in the settings panel [insert link], which you may access and update at any time.

Note: If the cookie banner already lists individual cookies, you may insert a direct link to the settings panel and omit the table below. If not, the following table must be completed with details about each cookie.

Consent

By clicking “Accept Cookies”, you voluntarily consent to the processing of your data, and all cookies will function as intended.

By clicking “Reject Cookies”, only strictly necessary cookies will be used. We do not sell, nor will we ever sell, personal data that directly identifies you to third parties. However, we may share anonymised or aggregated data (e.g., purchase patterns) with trusted brand partners.

If you accept only some cookie types, we will only process the accepted ones. Data from rejected cookies will be collected in a way that does not identify you.

How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser

You may allow, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings:

Some browsers allow you to set rules to manage cookies per site, offering more precise privacy control. This allows you to disable cookies from all sites except those you trust.
